IN THE PREMORTAL REALM, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshipped God as their Eternal Father and accepted His plan by which His children could obtain a physical body and gain earthly experience to progress toward perfection and ultimately realize their divine destiny as heirs of eternal life.
We were delighted when we got an email from Sunny at the beginning of October asking if we wanted to drive up to Rexburg with her sister Melissa for baby Xander's blessing. Of course! What made it even better is that unbeknownst to me, Melissa served a mission and just got back too. Log and I as recent RMs and Lynette, preparing to head out were all delighted to have another comrade to chat with about the mish.
It was so nice to see this family for the first time in TWO YEARS! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves watching BYU football, chatting about our missions (Hyrum was so sweet to ask us about our experiences and have us draw a map of our missions), getting a tour of BYU-I and even going out for ...
ice cream!
Then Sunday morning before the main event we had a little photo-op with the STAR of the show.

Just a few weeks after our Rexburg trip, on October 29, 2012, Enrique Iglesias Mason joined us. He's so fresh from the other side! When I held him for the first time I thought about his little spirit being with Heavenly Father so recently. Even #9 is a precious little miracle. The plan of Salvation is real.

The divine plan of happiness enables family relationships to be perpetuated beyond the grave. Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally.
Isn't it great to think we get them forever?!
THE FAMILY is ordained of God.
